A native of New York City, Blaise Kavanagh obtained his BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute. Trained at THOM BROWNE NEW YORK and BILL BLASS, Blaise’s work celebrates the rich heritage of American sportswear. He believes good design is found in subtlety.

To me, fashion is the manifestation of a designer’s talent and skill in his craft. I always seek to convey quality and craftsmanship in my work, to create well-made clothes that are functional and relevant to a modern woman. I want my work to possess a nuance: delicate juxtapositions of proportion and cut, color and texture. These elements should work quietly together to flatter the figure. When a woman feels beautiful, she radiates confidence and strength. That is effective design: clothing as discreet, but powerful tools of expression.
